Quote of the week: The harder you work, the luckier you get!

Any 8th grader interested in signing up for the California Cadet Corps class for high school, please make sure you pick up an application packet from either Mrs. Jantz or Mrs. Ramirez. We also have ASB applications for the high school, so make sure you stop by to pick one up.

Track and Field season is approaching! If you like to run, jump, and throw stuff, track and field may be the sport for you. You must have a physical form on file and passing grades to begin in March. There will be an informational meeting Tuesday, February 28, at 8:30 AM in the gym. See Mrs. Pratt in room H-36 if you have questions.

And varsity boys’ soccer season is here! Tryouts for boys' soccer will be Monday and Tuesday from 4 to 5:30 PM for all three grade levels. All players must have a current physical on fine in the office, shin guards and cleats, and have at least a 2.0 GPA with no Fs or Us.

Any 8th grader going on the Washington, DC / New York City trip, must come with a parent to a mandatory information meeting today at 6 PM in the Womack.  It is important that you and your parent be there because a lot of information about the trip will be discussed.  See Chase if you have any questions.

If you are an advisory representative for your class, there will be a meeting today during flex in the Womack.

Allison's Angels has a club meeting on Tuesday at 3:45. Make sure you wear your club t-shirts because we will be taking a group photo.

Pinon Mesa's Got Talent is coming! If you're interested in participating in this talent show and the possibility of winning $100 for first place, $50 for second place, or $25 for third place, then make sure you pick up a registration packet from Chase in G-20 or in the office.

There are still about 20 spots left for the Art Field Trip! Don’t forget to turn in your permission slips to Ms. Bouris and ask your friends to join you! We will need to fill all of the spots to make the trip possible.

Students please don’t forget that lunches change on Wednesday. Seventh grade will have lunch at 11:52, eighth grade will go to lunch at 12:26, and sixth grade will go to lunch at 1:09.

We also have a minimum day this Thursday. Dismissal is at 1:30 PM. Please don’t forget to remind your parents.

Have a great day Wolverines!
